- To all newbies who want the modem to disconnect with call waiting:
- Try reducing the setings of S9 (carrier detect responce time) and
- S10 (lost-carrier-to-hangup delay) to 1 sec each. Fist find out
- what are your current values (ats9? ats10?), and write those down
- (defaults: 6 sec and 14 sec). Then tell your modem at s9=1 s10=1
- and see what happens.

- On some posting I saw that some USR modem can ignore call
- waiting. Probably the modem at the other end is very forgiving.
